Bures and Villas

During your stay at our exotic island retreat, your home will be one of only 14 private villas, or "bures"—traditional, eco-friendly, two-room cottages built by Fijian craftsmen. Spacious, romantic, and wonderfully relaxing, light spills in from windows that overlook the tranquil waters of the Blue Lagoon while gentle winds carry the intoxicating scent of topical blossoms through the breezy interiors.

Each luxurious bure provides separate sleeping, dressing, and bathing areas, as well as a bar stocked with drinks and fresh tropical fruit, Bose CD players, and Pure Fiji body products.

Every Grand bure has a king-size bed, extensive dressing area, writing desk, walk-in double shower, hot tub, outdoor shower, and a veranda with queen-size day bed for napping in the sun-flecked shade of the palms. The Deluxe bure has a king-size bed, bath with two showers, a rattan furnished sitting room, and a writing desk.

Vonu Point

Vonu Point is our premium bure—a traditional, two-room thatched cottage built by Fijian craftsmen.

Elevated at the north end of the exotic, beautiful Blue Lagoon beachfront, it enjoys total privacy and breath-taking panoramic views of the lagoon and neighboring Yasawa Islands.

Your nearest neighbor is located over 500 yards away on the main beach. Take in the best vistas of Turtle Island from the hammock or day bed located outside the bure. A further private beach area is also reserved exclusively for our Vonu Point guests.

The ultimate in privacy, exclusivity, romance, and views of one of the most stunning locations on earth, Vonu Point is our most popular bure on the island, and should be reserved well in advance to ensure your stay. (And be sure to ask your Bure Mama about Vonu Point’s famous faces!)

Dining is a celebration on Turtle Island. Fijian chefs prepare contemporary western cuisine with traditional Fijian and Indo/Fijian influences. Join the dinner party held in a different location each evening or dine separately with your partner. You are allocated a personal chef who will prepare you meals according to your taste, and portion size.

Freshness and quality characterise meals on Turtle. Diverse fish and seafood's such as lobster, snapper and prawns is a fixture on the menu. Tender meats such as lamb and beef are imported as well as cheeses and beverages of world-class quality

The friendly staff of more than 100 Fijians takes care of guests' every need, including assistance with everything from snorkeling to scuba diving, windsurfing, boating, deep-sea fishing, horseback riding through the island's 500 acres, and visits to a neighboring island.
